Why This Series Exists
A while back, I took a photo of a wall in a colleague’s office, a patchwork of leadership quotes, scribbled reminders, and hard-earned truths. They weren’t fancy. They weren’t filtered. But they were real.

Those quotes stuck with me. Not just because they were wise, but because they reminded me of the kind of leader I always wished I had. The type of business owner I’m still becoming.
When I relaunched Township Design, I found myself going back to that photo often, especially on the tough days. That wall became more than a collage. It became a compass.
What to Expect
For the next 25 weeks, I’ll be sharing one short reflection each week, each paired with a quote from that wall.
These posts are about leadership, team culture, accountability, creative work, and the quiet things that make a real difference, not just in business, but in how we show up for people.
Who It’s For
This series is for you if:
- You lead a team or small business
- You care about people as much as performance
- You want to work with companies that walk the walk
- You’re navigating the messy middle of growth and learning
- Or, you’ve just been in the room when leadership missed the mark
Whether you’re building something from the ground up or simply trying to lead better than you were led, I hope these reflections give you something to chew on each week.
Follow Along Weekly
Each post will be quick, honest, and focused on one theme—like care, ownership, delegation, growth, or clarity.
If you’d like to follow the whole journey, new posts will drop here on the Township Design blog every week.
