Design Approach
The Richardson Residence was conceived as a comprehensive estate landscape designed to bring order, beauty, and long-term functionality to a large rural property. Township Design developed a full bid set integrating site planning, landscape architecture, irrigation, planting design, fencing, and phased implementation strategies to guide the transformation of the property over time.
The design responds to the scale of the land by organizing arrival drives, open lawn areas, private outdoor living spaces, and naturalized perimeter zones into one cohesive composition. Rather than treating the property as isolated project areas, the plan creates a connected estate experience where architecture, circulation, planting, and land stewardship work together.
Key Features
Grand entrance drive sequence, phased site development plan, custom residence landscape integration, expansive lawn and meadow areas, pool and patio environments, outdoor gathering spaces, layered estate planting, privacy screening, decorative fencing and gates, stormwater-sensitive grading strategies, comprehensive irrigation system design, and construction-ready bid documentation for contractor pricing.
Outcome
The final result is a complete estate master plan that balances elegance with practicality. Through thoughtful planning and detailed documentation, the Richardson Residence gains a clear roadmap for phased construction, improved usability, stronger curb appeal, and a timeless landscape framework capable of maturing beautifully for years to come.
